Weten jullie nog dat ik drie weken geleden, op 1 februari, zei dat ik deze maand geen geld uit wilde geven aan kleding of aan beauty-artikelen. Ik had één joker, die ik mocht gebruiken als ik iets zag wat ik echt niet kon laten staan, maar ik moest hem wijs gebruiken, want ik had er slechts één en daar was geen twijfel over mogelijk..
En.. zijn jullie benieuwd of ik, door vele gezien als notoir shop-a-holic, mijn eigen dieet kan volhouden..?
Ik kan jullie met trots vertellen, ik heb nog geen euro aan kleding of beauty uitgegeven. En of het me moeite kost? Absoluut niet. Ik heb de stad vermeden, ben er gewoon de hele maand nog niet geweest. En om het verhaal nog eventjes iets mooier te maken, mijn dieet geldt eigenlijk al sinds 20 januari, wat betekent dat ik al meer dan een maand heel erg zuinig ben (op die iMac na dan, maar daar was voor gespaard).
Of ik er gelukkig van word? Nou weetje, ik kan heel erg gelukkig worden van het besef, dat als ik iets echt graag wil, dat ik dan de controle kan houden, en dat het me gewoon lukt. En doordat ik zo druk geweest ben met verhuizen en daar naar toe leven, heb ik ook veel minder interesse in nieuwe kleding.
Goed, die interesse komt nu wel weer terug hoor. Maar eh.. ik ga er natuurlijk wel voor zorgen dat ik niet gelijk in de eerste week van maart alles koop wat ik in februari had willen kopen, dan heeft het weinig zin gehad.
Ik wil dit seizoen eigenlijk heel erg graag aan de 5 Piece French Wardrobe, dat houdt in dat ik vijf items koop die echt bijzonder zijn, en misschien mijn basics iets aanvul. Ik ben benieuwd of ik zoiets vol kan houden, zou eigenlijk niet heel erg moeilijk moeten zijn met zo’n hoeveelheid kleding.. I’ll keep you posted!
