Soms moet je beslissingen maken die je helemaal niet wilt nemen. Stoppen met m’n wekelijkse blog voor I Love Beauty News is één van die beslissingen. Na bijna een jaar lang iedere woensdag mijn blog online, is vandaag mijn laatste blog, m’n afscheidsblog, geplaatst.
I Love Beauty News was de eerste plek op internet, other than Annemerel.com, waar mijn schrijfsels te vinden waren(&zijn) Ik heb met heel veel plezier geschreven, maar de laatste tijd krijg ik het steeds drukker, of maak ik het mezelf steeds drukker en daarbij komt, de onderwerpen raken een beetje op.
Ik ben niet zo’n beautylover dat ik nu, na 45 blogs, nog steeds iedere week weer een leuk onderwerp kan vinden. En als ik tijd zou hebben, dan zou ik onderwerpen kunnen zoeken, tijd kunnen investeren.. maar er zitten nu eenmaal maar 24 uur in een dag, en helaas hecht ik nogal wat waarde aan die acht uur slaap, en heb ik m’n werk, m’n freelance werk oh en Annemerel.com natuurlijk.. Ah en nu vergeet ik nog mijn privéleven en m’n wekelijkse rondje Gossip Girl, Pretty Little Liars, Glee & Vampire Diaries (oh wat heb ik het zwaar!)
En weetje, ik doe niet graag dingen half. Ik wil dingen goed doen, ik wil progressie zien, ik wil beter worden. En als er op een gegeven moment iets is wat verslonsd, dan kan ik dat beter loslaten, dan er angstvallig aan vasthouden in de hoop dat het ooit weer beter wordt. Want weet je, dat heeft geen zin.
Maar dit is dus niet het einde, dit is slechts het begin.. écht waar.
