Dag drie alweer, de dag dat we het meest gelopen hebben! Moest ook wel na al die schranspartijen van de dag ervoor. Ik zat nog zo vol dat ik ’s middags om 14.00u pas weer aan eten kon denken. En dat is heel erg on-Annemerel, want normaal word ik met honger (geen trek!) wakker, ook al heb ik voor het slapen gaan nog een zak chips leeg gegeten!
We maakten een wandeling van de Arc de Triomphe over de Champs-Elysees, door de Tuileries, naar het Louvre, om daar te ontdekken dat de rij alweer zo enorm lang was. Geen Louvre voor ons, als ik graag met een hele hoop toeristen op een kluitje uren zou willen wachten, dan was ik wel naar Disneyland gegaan, of nou ja, ik denk dat ik liever wacht voor het Louvre dan voor een af andere Space Mountain, maar jullie begrijpen mijn punt toch? Ik ga geen drie uur wachten. Daar is mijn geduld niet op gebouwd.
Dus ik mocht weer shoppen. Bij Stella McCartney stal een tas m’n hart, maar ik pikte hem terug, want ik kon een nieuwe tas met geen mogelijkheid verantwoorden. Bij Patrizia Pepe paste ik twintig paar laarzen (niet overdreven, vraag maar aan vriend, die na tien paar wegliep en pas weer terugkwam na een bezorgd telefoontje van mijn kant!) uiteindelijk liep ik de winkel uit met een jas natuurlijk. Eentje die ik wel kan verantwoorden, want hij is warm (klinkt logisch, maar gaat nogal eens mis met mij), hij is fabulous en ik kan er in skiën! Mijn oude ski-jas draag ik al minstens zes seizoenen en voor een meisje zoals ik is dat dus echt heel bijzonder!
We lunchten bij een brasserietje in de buurt van de Eiffeltoren, om vervolgens de Eiffeltoren te beklimmen. Helaas maar tot de tweede verdieping, want de top was gesloten, zal wel om veiligheidsredenen geweest zijn. Wat is dat uitzicht prachtig vanaf boven! M’n zusje zei voordat ik wegging dat Parijs bijna net zoveel inwoners heeft als Nederland, ik lachte haar een beetje uit, maar nu geloof ik haar wel, Parijs is echt GROOT!
Na de Eiffeltoren bezochten we de Notre Dame, de Galeries LaFayette, at ik Crepes en een paar uur later Sushi.. en wat we tussen de Crepes en de Sushi deden? Dat lees je vanmiddag!
