Toen ik gister schreef dat ik helemaal geen spannende dingen beleefde, was ik stiekem eventjes vergeten dat ik wel een super leuke Valentijn gehad heb, terwijl we het niet eens vierden.. Het begon al bij het wakker worden, er werd ineens een ‘I Love You’ chocolaatje naast me neer gelegd. Okee, dat ik die chocolaatjes drie weken geleden aan hem gegeven had laten we nu eventjes buiten beschouwing, het gaat om het gebaar toch?
’s Avonds zijn we culinair bezig geweest. Eerst wilden we lekker uit eten, toen bedacht ik me dat we allebei vrij weinig geld meer hadden en nog eventjes later kwam de oplossing, zelf sushi maken. Nou denk ik dat we voor hetzelfde geld als dat we aan ingredienten hebben uitgegeven ook makkelijk uit eten hadden kunnen gaan, maar het idee was leuk. Eigenlijk was dit misschien zelfs nog wel leuker dan uiteten, ik bedoel.. nu hebben we echt met liefde samen gewerkt en ik heb iets geleerd (sushi rijst plakt, sushi’s zelf maken is duurder dan bij een all you can eat sushi restaurant eten, ik heb vrij weinig geduld als ik honger heb, en afwassen is niet mijn ding). Haha, nu klinkt het allemaal heel stom terwijl het super leuk en lekker was.
Gistermiddag heb ik bij gebrek aan betere activiteiten (ik moet straks eerst boeken halen bij de bibliotheek voordat ik verder kan met mijn scriptie) pancakes gebakken. Ongeveer de pancakes uit het recept wat ik een paar weken geleden liet ziet, maar dan iets anders. Dit keer waren het namelijk ‘Vanille pancakes’ en ze waren serieus zo zoet dat ik niet eens meer poedersuiker of stroop nodig had! Het is ook zo ontzettend makkelijk..
Recept voor twaalf pancakes (65 calorieën per stuk, ja dat heb ik zelf uitgerekend want ik was eigenlijk best wel benieuwd)
100gr tarwebloem, 200ml melk, vijf zakjes vanillesuiker (Dr. Oetker), half zakje backing powder (Dr. Oetker), eetlepel zonnebloemolie en een snufje zout, goed mixen, beetje roomboter in een koekenpan en met een kleine soeplepel mooie ronde hoopjes maken.. et voilà.
Ik ben er in totaal misschien vijftien minuten mee bezig geweest en het was zooo ontzettend lekker. Mijn zusje kwam net uit school en die rook de vanillesuiker al toen ze de buiten was, haha die was ook blij dat ze lekker aan kon vallen (en ik was blij dat ik ze niet allemaal alleen op hoefde te eten!)
Goed het gaat weer lekker over eten vandaag, en dat terwijl ik er eigenlijk veel minder aan denk. Sinds 1 februari heb ik geen een keer een asociale vreetbui gehad, terwijl ik die in januari echt minstens twee keer per week had, en het laatste half jaar van 2009 zelfs bijna iedere dag. Ik zeg, I’m doing good, I’m doing great. Allermooiste van dit alles.. Mijn huid (zegt dit heel voorzichtig, en klopt het tegelijkertijd af..) ziet er echt prachtig uit. Ik heb as we speak geen puistjes en nog maar een paar hele kleine onzuiverheden. Slaat de antibiotica eindelijk aan? Werpt het gezonde eten haar vruchten af? Komt het door de biergistpillen die ik sinds twee weken slik (Thanks Genesis)? Of is dit tijdelijk? Ik weet het niet, maar geniet er maar van zolang het zo is.
Well.. Het is half acht, ik ga maar eens aan de yoga, moet mijn bus van negen uur zien te halen, straks lekker lunchen met Laura en daarna college! Wordt een lekker druk dagje vandaag.. But I’m loving it.
