De soundtrack van Vampire Diaries seizoen één staat de afgelopen weken op repeat, dus de meeste nummers zijn daarvan afkomstig. Heerlijk op de achtergrond als ik aan het werk ben of gewoon lekker in bed lig met een boekje. Ik vind soundtracks van series vaak bijna net zo leuk als de verhaallijn! Het is echt de leukste manier om nieuwe muziek te ontdekken!
Het nummer van Coldplay, Amsterdam, is overigens één van mijn favoriete nummers van de afgelopen tien jaar! Hoe vaak ik die al niet geluisterd heb? De opbouw van het nummer is wat mij betreft subliem! Dikke dikke liefde!
Oh en Anberlin & Elbow heb ik net ontdekt! Anberlin vond ik al fantastisch met hun versie van Enjoy the Silence (origineel van Depeche Mode), maar True Faith is zo mogelijk nog fantastischer, de gehele discografie staat inmiddels in mijn iTunes. En Elbow ontdekte ik vorige maand tijdens het winkelen met mama en sindsdien zijn we samen fan! Hoorde dat ze afgelopen week in Nederland waren, dat wist ik dan weer net niet.. jammer!
