Ik heb mezelf twee daagjes vrij gegeven en heb er een culinaire minivakantie van gemaakt. Gistermiddag zat ik heerlijk in het zonnetje op het terras bij Ron Blaauw in Oudekerk aan de Amstel. Het is culinair uit je dak week en dat betekent dat je voor 43 euro bij verschillende sterrenzaken een menuutje kan eten met Champagne, amuses, bijpassende wijnen en koffie en thee, als je onder de 23 bent ten minste. Nou lieve lezers, dat is voor Annemerel dus de hemel die eventjes naar de aarde afreist. Ik kan daar zo ontzettend van genieten!
We hebben bij Ron Blaauw zulke lekkere dingetjes gegeten. Een aantal hoogtepuntjes; de gefrituurde garnalen als kleine amuse/snack bij de Champagne, een marshmellow met zebraprint waarin een heerlijke tartaar van tonijn verstopt zat (de zebrastrepen was trouwens een mayonaise van wasabi!) Het stukje vlees van het Amerikaanse rund was ook echt de top! En het zoete bittergarnituurtje bij de thee was helemaal speciaal. Een bonbon in de vorm van een bitterbal, een cheesecake in de vorm van een stukje kaas en wat aardbeitjes in de vorm van een plakje worst. Geniaal.
Na Ron Blaauw zijn Laura (mijn culinaire metgezel voor de middag) en ik afgereisd naar Amsterdam waar we met Linda en Nathalie hadden afgesproken. Linda en Nathalie waren net als wij geslaagd voor hun scriptie (Nathalie al wat langer geleden, maar het was nog niet gevierd!) en alle drie de meiden hebben mij super geholpen om mijn scriptie tot een voldoende te brengen. We hebben dus lekker gebubbeld bij Bubbles & Wines op het Nes.
Echt een topdag gehad dus! Zo leuk (en lekker) kan vakantie in eigen land zijn dus ;)
Vandaag ben ik met een paar collega’s naar de Librije geweest, verslag volgt morgen!!
