Toen ik binnen kwam direct op verkoper afgestapt, hallo ik ben op zoek naar oorbellen! (Huh? Echt? Sinds wanneer Annemerel…?) Meneer liep met mij mee door de afschuwelijk grote mooie Chanelwinkel naar de sieraden en toverde zo’n vijftig verschillende oorbellen tevoorschijn. De oorbellen die ik wilde zaten er tussen. Doutzen droeg ze op de September Cover van Glamour en sinds die cover ben ik een beetje verliefd. Ik heb ook nog naar Chanel Amsterdam gebeld om te vragen of ze ze hadden, maar ‘die zitten niet in onze collectie Mevrouw!’ Ik wilde ze dus al wel langer, maar mijn verlangens ernaar stonden de afgelopen tijd gewoon op een iets lager pitje.
Dat verlangen brandde natuurlijk direct weer op toen ik de oorbellen in het echt zag. Jeetje wat mooi! Ik dacht even na en besloot mezelf toen maar gewoon lekker te verwennen en de oorbellen te kopen. Waarschijnlijk was dit nog een van de goedkoopste dingen uit de hele winkel (de tas waar ik al jaren beide ogen op heb gericht is meer dan 10x zo duur, bijvoorbeeld..). Uiteindelijk liep ik de winkel uit met twee kleine Chaneltasjes, want mama wilde ze ook graag in een andere kleur, kunnen we lekker elkaars oorbellen jatten!
’s Middags shopte we nog wat meer, bij ZARA, H&M & Hugo Boss op de Champs-Elysees (niet eens voor mij!) en bij Marc by Marc Jacobs, dit keer wel voor mij. Een paraplu, want het druppelde helaas en een shirt met daarop Paris! Als souvenier voor mezelf. Al met al ben ik nog wel redelijk trots op mezelf, ik ben niet compleet uit m’n dak gegaan, ik ben nog wel semi-verstandig geweest. Al zeg ik het zelf..
