Gister stond de hele dag voor mij in het teken van mijn mama, daartegenover stond dat mijn moeders dag in het teken van mij stond, kortom een mama-dochterdagje van ’s morgens vroeg tot ’s avonds laat. En dat was leuk. Ik heb zelfs een paar uur mijn telefoon uit gehad, maar toen konden we de weg niet vinden en zette ik mijn iPhone weer aan om te kijken waar we zaten en ja toen ging ik natuurlijk wel weer een klein beetje in de fout. Maar goed, babysteps, wist amper hoe ik mijn telefoon uit moest zetten, want dat doe ik dus nooit.
Daar wilde ik het echter helemaal niet over hebben. Ik wilde het hebben over naar Rotterdam gaan met mijn moeder, waar zij, ondanks dat ze er slechts een half uur vandaan woont, al sinds haar tiende niet meer was geweest om te winkelen. Het was leuk, Rotterdam was leuk, weer eens wat anders dan Amsterdam en Den Haag. Ik werd verliefd op een prachtige tas van PAULE KA bij Mostert & Van Leeuwen in de van Oldenbarneveltstraat. Binnen een minuut had ik al beslist dat ik de tas zou kopen. Ik ben nog nooit zo zeker van mijn zaak geweest, zelfs de prijs schrok me niet af, ja kijk als je eerst spaart voor een Chanel tas van 2500 euro dan is dit natuurlijk niets. De prijs dan, de tas is namelijk prachtig en stiekem nog veel mooier en specialer dan die belachelijk dure Chanel 2.55, ik zal snel mooie duidelijke foto’s maken waarop ook de inktblauwe kleur goed naar voren komt.
Bij ZARA ging ik eigenlijk alleen wat terugbrengen, maar het is natuurlijk naief om te denken dat ik dan niet met iets anders naar buiten kom. Ik bracht mijn (te korte) broek terug en liep naar buiten in een beige (nep) leren jasje. Zelfde soort nep leer als mijn grijze leren jasje wat ik in januari kocht. Ziet er absoluut niet nep uit en voelt ook heel erg lekker. Goede ruil dus ;-)
Toen hadden mama en ik wel weer genoeg geshopt, zij had in de eerste beste winkel waar ze binnen kwam namelijk al gelijk een paar suède enkellaarsjes gekocht en dat zorgde ervoor dat haar budget ook wel weer een beetje op was. We namen de trein terug naar Hoek van Holland, reden even langs huis voor een kleine ’touch-up’ om vervolgens een lekker pizzaatje te eten op de boulevard bij Kijkduin. Like Old Times :)
’s Avonds hebben we de dag geheel in stijl afgesloten op de bank met een fles witte wijn en de eerste twee afleveringen van het nieuwste seizoen Gossip Girl, die had ik natuurlijk al lang gezien, maar ik ben niet vies van een beetje herhaling op zijn tijd, zeker niet als het herhaling van mooie Parijse sfeerbeelden, outfits van Serena & Blair en emotionele momenten tussen Chuck & Blair betreft. Haha.
Helaas vandaag weer back to business. Maar heb mooie dingen in het verschiet. Morgen lekker naar de kapper, eindelijk, na bijna zeven maanden (!) en zaterdag een ongelooflijke meet-up met allemaal lieve meiden wiens leven ik al jaren volg maar die ik (de meeste dan) nog nooit in levende lijve heb mogen meemaken. Fun, fun, fun!
