>FOOD: Not so sugary snacks

Sinds ik nu bijna vijf weken zo min mogelijk toegevoegde suikers probeer te eten, is de hoeveelheid tussendoortjes die ik zonder schuldgevoel kan eten wel extreem geslonken. Geen chocola, geen bastognekoeken, geen autodrop, geen… nou je begrijpt hem vast wel.

Maar ik zou Annemerel niet zijn als ik toch nog lekker aan het genieten was. Maar dan wel verantwoord natuurlijk. Want de eerste weken nam ik in plaats van zoete snacks, gewoon een zak chips, en dat was prima, voor even. Ik bedoel, ik moest écht afkicken en als ik mezelf dan nog meer zou gaan ontzeggen.. dan was ik vast niet zover gekomen. Nu heb ik een paar lekkere tussendoortjes gevonden, die ook nog eens best wel verantwoord zijn.

De Egg White Omelette met kastanjechampignons. Ik at de eerste weken niet alleen erg veel chips, ik at ook dagelijks een paar eieren. Helemaal niet erg, als je het eigeel maar niet eet heb ik geleerd (van jullie!). In het eigeel zit erg veel cholestrol, en dat is niet erg, zo lang je er maar niet te veel van eet. Nou dat deed ik dus wel.

Een Egg White Omelette maken is super simpel. Je scheidt je eitjes, gooit het eigeel weg (of maakt er een lekker haarmasker van, ooit gedaan toen ik veertien was, m’n haar rook wel nog weken naar ei, haha) het eiwit meng je met wat melk, peper en zout. Pan verwarmen met (olijf)olie, beetje zout in de pan zodat het mengsel niet aan de bodem vast kleeft. Ei in de pan, net zo lang totdat de ‘pannenkoek’ los komt van de bodem, op een helft de champignons (die je van te voren al eventjes gebakken hebt met wat olijfolie), andere helft er overheen vouwen, nog heel eventjes in de pan, et voila! Heerlijk gezond (&slank!) snackje!

Iets anders (heel erg) foolproofs; wat Aziatische wokgroenten wokken met wat olijfolie en een snufje zout. Wil je helemaal gek doen, roer je er nog een beetje teriyaki saus doorheen en binnen drie minuten is jouw zeer verantwoorde tussendoortje klaar!

En last but not least, dit snackje is voor mij tegenwoordig dagelijkse kost. Een lekker appeltje, fijn in stukjes gesneden, wat kaneel eroverheen gestrooid, eventjes in de magnetron, en… genieten! Je kunt dit appelsnackje zo gek maken als je zelf wilt. Je kunt er ook nog wat rozijntjes doorheen doen, wat suikervrije slagroom naast serveren, of een appelflapje maken met wat bladerdeeg. Serieus, nog nooit zo iets makkelijks en lekkers gemaakt. Hier geniet ik dus tien keer meer van dan van een chocolademuffin. (En dat zeg ik niet omdat ik zuur ben dat ik geen suiker meer eet, maar dat zeg ik met m’n hand op m’n hart!)

    Zelf heb ik eigenlijk geen idee wat ik zou eten voor tussendoortjes als ik jou was. Ik ben een beetje simpel als hem om eten gaat. Kersen en bessen (uit de vriezer) met biogarde eet ik wel als ik in mijn gezondeten periode zit :P

    Ik maakte vanochtend (geinspireerd door jou) warme appel uit de magnetron met kaneel, vanillesuiker (maar dat mag als je ziek bent haha), rozijnen en wat muesli! Hallo appeltaart idee :)

    benodigheden: ijsblokjes, frambozen, blaadjes verse munt. doe allemaal in de blender, en mixen maar! wederom bubbeltjes water toevoegen!
    frambozen kun je ook inwisselen voor bijvoorbeeld andere soorten 'berries'
    (zomers de verse variant, in de winter zijn degene uit de diepries ideaal!)
