Zaterdag, m’n laatste dag op de ski’s was de mooiste dag van de hele week. Zowel qua zon, temperatuur en misschien zelfs ook wel sneeuw. Het laatste uur voelde bitterzoet, terwijl ik de laatste pistes nam genoot ik, maar met zo’n knoop in m’n maag, wetende dat het de laatste voor tenminste een jaar waren. Maar hoe ouder je wordt hoe meer je aan dat gevoel gewend raakt en er beter mee om kunt gaan, althans, dan spreek ik voor mezelf.
Geen tranen voor mij, maar genieten van het moment.
Om vijf uur ’s middags reden we naar het hotel waar we de week ervoor op vrijdag ook al overnachtte. Een kleine twee uur later arriveerden we, kwartiertje later was ik gedoucht, nog een kwartiertje later genoot ik alweer van m’n glas wijn.
Gisterochtend nog een laatste ontbijt en toen ging het ineens heel snel. Ik had gerekend op de hele dag en een deel van de avond in de auto, maar om kwart voor vier stonden we ineens thuis voor de deur en toen was de vakantie dus in één klap voorbij en kon ik gelijk door naar m’n werk, waar ik tot na middenacht aan het werk was.
En nu, terug naar de realiteit, tijd voor de lente, tijd voor productiviteit, tijd voor de halve marathon!!! (nog maar zes dagen!)
