We sjouwden onze spullen naar de lift, dropten onze UGGS in het depot, kochten liftpassen voor acht dagen en waren klaar voor ons eerste avontuur.
Twee liften brachten ons helemaal boven, ik draaide m’n eerste bochtjes. Ik lag na een, nou wat zouden het geweest zijn? 20 bochten? in een Bridget Jones-achtige houding midden in een groep Fransen.
Op mijn buik, met skistokken voor me uit, en m’n knieën opgetrokken omdat ik op dat moment dacht dat ik zo de minste schade aan zou richten. Het enige dat ik kon was lachen. Het was ook gewoon heel erg hilarisch. Ik, Annemerel, degene die nooit valt, ligt na pak een beet 20 bochten al in de meest ridicule houding in een groep Fransen. Het lag natuurlijk ook niet aan mij, want als die Fransen er niet gestaan hadden had ik niet zo’n buikschuiver gemaakt, dan was ik gewoon door geskied, althans, dat maak ik mezelf graag wijs.
We deden een paar afdalingen en schoven om half twee aan voor de lunch. We genoten van de zon, ook al ziet het weerbericht er voor de komende dagen niet zo fijn meer uit, deze middag kunnen ze niet meer van ons afpakken.
We had a blast, ik heb me de rest van de middag staande weten te houden, gelukkig. Helaas wel een kleine blessure aan m’n schouder overgehouden. Iets verrekt denk ik, maar eh, denk dat als ik de rest van de vakantie gewoon recht op blijf staan, dat helemaal geen probleem hoeft te zijn.
’s Avonds aten we kip met patat en toen was het alweer tijd om op de bank te duiken met m’n MacBook en heel erg veel Glee!
