Mensen die veel beter kunnen skiën dan ik zijn ook niet mijn favorieten. Kijk, het is nog niet eens dat ik jaloers ben op iemand die als een Hermann Maier naar beneden komt, want ik weet.. je kunt niet alles hebben. Maar ook zij jagen de stuipen op mijn lijf door als een soort straaljagers met heel veel stofwolken langs te sjezen.
Dronkenschap van Nederlanders van het mannelijk geslacht voor twaalf uur ’s middags kan ik ook niet waarderen. Hallo? Ik ben toch niet op Chersonissos? Ik wil niet aan m’n jasje getrokken worden en schunnige opmerkingen naar mijn hoofd geslingerd krijgen. Sukkels.
Sowieso staan mensen met een alcoholkegel uit hun mond niet erg hoog in mijn achting. Vooral niet als ze tegenover je zitten in de lift, om negen uur ’s ochtends. Houd je mond dicht, of slaap die alcohollucht eruit, als dat nog mogelijk is.
Aan kinderen heb ik op de piste ook een hekel. Begrijp me niet verkeerd, ik vind kinderen leuk. Soms denk ik zelfs dat ik kinderen te leuk vind (maar maak je daarover vooral geen zorgen). Maar op de piste, een drama. Kinderen kennen geen gevaar, kinderen komen vaak voor in groepen, groepen die de gehele piste in beslag nemen. Weet je, het is nog niet eens dat ik me echt erger aan kinderen op de piste, ik ben vooral een beetje bang voor ze.
Maar mijn grootste irritatie dat zijn mensen die in de restaurants van landjepik een heuse sport maken. Ben je nog niet opgestaan, of zijn ze alweer een halve meter dichterbij. Maak je aanstalten om weg te gaan, vragen ze of je weg gaat, ja natuurlijk geen probleem, maar wel een probleem als ze al gaan zitten voordat je goed en wel je kont verheft hebt. Kun je je eigen handschoenen gaan zoeken tussen de jassen en tassen van de nieuwe bewoners van je plekje. Not my cup of tea..
Zijn er dan wel mensen die jij wel waardeert Annemerel, vraag je je nu misschien af.. Ach ja, vraag ik mezelf ook wel eens af. Kijk, ben heus niet zo’n haatdragend persoon, maar soms he.. Dan kan zelfs ik heksachtige gedachtes hebben. Zolang ze in mijn hoofd zitten en na een paar seconden alweer vergeten zijn geen probleem toch?
