Vandaag twee mannen op het vliegtuig gezet in Pisa, samen met mijn vader. Met het vertrek van broer en vriend is m’n vader de enige overgebleven man in het gezelschap dat verder drie shoppende vrouwen telt. Arme papa, wat moet hij nu? De Tour de France is zo goed als afgelopen en de meeste cultuur in de buurt is al gezien, het enige dat nu nog op onze agenda staat is shoppen, zonnen en eten. En nu zou ik graag willen vertellen over m’n vader de modeman, maar verder dan een Grazia en een ELLE lezen op z’n tijd, komt het helaas niet. Hij vraagt zich nog steeds af waarom ik niet gewoon iedere dag een polo van Ralph Lauren of Tommy Hilfiger draag, dat stond me vroeger zo schattig (het feit dat ik nu 22 ben en de schattige fase al minstens zes jaar voorbij, lijkt hem eventjes te ontschieten).
Goed, het is nu lekker stil dus en misschien op het moment ook wel een klein beetje saai. Ik moet altijd weer eventjes afkicken als ik (tijdelijk) afscheid van mensen neem. Maar goed, daar zijn we morgenochtend wel weer overheen hoor! Ik heb nog genoeg dingen die ik wil doen. Op het vliegveld kocht ik voor zeven euro twee engelse klassiekers, Jane Eyre en Black Beauty. Jane Eyre las ik vijf jaar geleden bij engels en wil ik al jaren nog eens lezen en Black Beauty is volgens mij echt zo’n boek dat je gelezen moet hebben en wat ik dus tot op heden niet gedaan heb.
Verder moet er dus ook nog geshopt worden. Niet dat er geld op m’n rekening staat, maar ik neem graag een voorschot op m’n salaris dat ik volgende week weer krijg. Eigenlijk zou ik daar gewoon van af moeten blijven, aangezien er over drieënhalve week ook nog een paar dagen Parijs op het programma staat, maar het is erg verleidelijk en leven met de dag is tijdens het shoppen vaak mijn beste excuus.
En er moet nog gezwommen worden! Ik heb het zwembadwater nog niet geprobeerd deze vakantie en dat kan natuurlijk niet! Voordat ik op vakantie ging zei ik dat ik iedere ochtend baantjes wilde trekken, nou ja dat initiatief heeft dus hopeloos gefaald, of nu ja het initiatief heeft niet gefaald, ik de initiatiefneemster heeft het initiatief niet genomen en heeft dus tot op heden hopeloos gefaald. Mijn nieuwe doel is, minstens één dag deze vakantie beginnen met baantjes trekken. Als we weer in Nederland zijn gaan we wel weer echt sportief doen!
Ik denk dat ik het nog wel even volhoud hoor.. Een datum waarop ik weer thuis kom is er ineens niet meer en hoewel dat niet helemaal in lijn is met mijn planmatige aard kan ik daar op dit moment wel mee leven!
