Donderdag hebben we ein-de-lijk een keer een geslaagd bezoek aan Ikea gebracht. We hadden al meerdere pogingen ondernomen, maar het is het altijd net niet. Als ik zo’n boekje bekijk wil ik alles, als we in de winkel sta denken we allebei.. eh, is dit het nou? En dan staan we uiteindelijk alleen met een paar geurkaarsen en een slagroomspuit bij de kassa (ik maak niet eens een grapje!)
Maar donderdag kwamen we met een écht doel, en we hadden versterking van schoonzus en zwager, dus we moesten wel. Het bed is uitgezocht, het nachtkastje (waar ik nog enthousiaster over ben dan het hele bed) is gevonden, de bedlampjes (die alles compleet maken) zijn al gekocht, evenals de dekbedovertrekken, die ongelooflijk veel lijken op de dekbedovertrekken die we in Oostenrijk altijd in ie-der hotel/appartement hebben, wit met een klein streepje erin geweven. Het vervelende van Ikea is wel dat je niet zelf de leveringsdatum van je spullen kunt bepalen, dus moeten we volgende week weer terug om het bed, de matrassen en de lattenbodems te bestellen, en dan maar hopen dat het op voorraad is en dat het al gelijk de veertiende geleverd wordt, want we willen er gelijk de eerste nacht (Valentijn!) gaan slapen.
De slaapkamer is dus zo goed als ingericht, want daar past verder niet veel meer bij. We hebben een inloopkast, dus daar hoeven we ons ook geen zorgen over te maken. Iets ‘gezelligs’ voor boven het bed heb ik donderdagavond zelf in elkaar geknutseld. We wilden iets groots en bijzonders, maar misschien toch ook wel iets persoonlijks, dus heb ik al m’n harddiscs en internetbronnen geraadpleegd op zoek naar leuke foto’s. Van ons samen, van vakantie’s, van familie, van vrienden, van lekkere gerechten die we gegeten hebben. Ik heb ze zwart, wit gemaakt en een klein beetje gespeeld met de contrasten en er daarna een enorm grote collage van gemaakt (160cm bij 90cm) en die willen we op canvas laten afdrukken. Leuk he?
Nu de rest van het huis nog. De badkamer hoeft weinig aan te gebeuren, nieuwe wc-bril (want dat is wel zo’n fris idee) en dan is het klaar. De hobbykamer gaat ook wel goed komen, maar de woonkamer.. we hebben een bank, een hele gave lamp en een super grote zwarte vaas in de vorm van een wijnfles en.. that’s it. TVmeubel voldoet steeds niet aan onze eisen, evenals iedere salontafel die we tot nu toe gezien hebben. Oh en om over een eettafel en stoelen nog maar te zwijgen. Dus… mochten jullie leuke ideeen hebben, deel ze. Onze muren zijn wit, onze vloer is whitewash parket (RECTIFICATIE: whitewash eikenhoutenvloer), bank is gemêleerd grijs en de accessoires zijn zilverkleurig (hoogglans en RVS) en zwart/wit.. dus!

>jullie kunnen de 14e pas in het huisje? want als je ook een matras van de ikea koopt moet je die sowieso een paar dagen laten rusten omdat die vacuüm verpakt worden. ik weet niet hoe het zit bij andere speciaalzaken enzo, of ze ze daar ook vacuüm verpakken, maar matrassen bij de ikea moeten eerst op volume komen zeg maar :P dus als je de 14e een ikea matras uitpakt kan je er niet meteen op slapen. ;)

>Superleuk! Wij zijn ook begin van het jaar verhuisd (we woonden al samen sinds maart vorig jaa). Het inrichten vind ik altijd het leukst. Blijven jullie muren wit? Wij hebben lichtgrijze muren met blauwe (met grijze ondertoon) details. Meubels wit, grijs en zwart.. Eettafel hebben we van Neckermann, vrij groot (160×90) met zwarte glasplaat. Een zwart tapijt (niet te groot) vind ik ook mooi, als je een witte "coffeetable" hebt en een lichte vloer. Ik weet niet hoe groot jullie huisje is maar, ik vind: less is more!
